Cats

Every cat lover knows the phrase, "If I fits, I sits." If a cat sees something that he might fit in, he tries it out and sits in it, without fail. Cats are so funny that way, and in our house a simple cardboard box is always a cheap route toward entertainment. My cats do really quirky things like pull towels off racks to sit on them, too. I recently got a desk with some square bars that the cats are fascinated with. They like to sit and stare out of the bars like they're in a Sarah McLachlan commercial. Feel sorry for my babies! 

Yesterday I read a story about a cat who leaves her owner little treats in her purse. Every day she cleans out this little purse pocket and every day her feline friend deposits a few pieces of her own cat kibble to share. It was the most adorable thing I've read this week!

Halloween is the perfect time for us cat lovers, especially if you love black cats! It's also a great time to pick up some purrfect cat art, like these cute Kilkenny cat pieces! 

From ornaments to paintings, there is something for everyone and plenty of cat cuteness to stock up on Halloween decorations in general!

Have you seen the people knitting tiny couches for their cats? This little phenomenon is so cute you can barely stand it! They come in all shapes, sizes and colors, and you can make them for just about any size of cat.

Personally I love my cats cuddling on my couch with me, and I think they might fight over couches, even if we made them each a couch of their own! But it might be something fun to try, or even to make and sell if you enjoy fabric crafts.

One of the best things about being in lockdown is the sharing of resources, especially when they involve cute animals. Lots of people are sharing their cutest kitten and puppy photos and videos and it's definitely adding some cheer to many lives.
