The Asiatic golden cat is an endangered species that isn't seen very often, which is why it's so cool that this one was recently seen in Cambodia. This is the first time that one has been seen in Ratanakiri province, but it's also part of an ongoing conservation effort in Virachey National Park, so hopefully it won't be a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Earlier I was reading about various cats being rescued from hoarding situations and feeling so down until I saw this piece. I would love to see many more pieces like this and less of the former.
