I'm Marie-Helene; I'm 55 and French. I live in Saint-Maur, a city of 77.000 inhabitants. We are a ten-minute car ride away from Paris.
I'm married with no kids. Our only kid is our female Korat cat, Agatha, who is now 12 years old. She is spoilt rotten but is adorable. She talks a lot, is very affectionate and is always by our side because she needs to be with us.
I lived 9 years in NYC (Greenwich Village) because my was a journalist who worked for the Agence France-Presse. I was 2 when we moved to the USA so I went directly to the American Primary school.
I also lived 4 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when I was 18. Again for my father's job.
Many years later, I was hired as a translator (English/French/Spanish) for Interpol at the Ministry of Interior. In 2010, as I was waiting for the subway to go home from work, I felt dizzy. I made a few steps and fell on the track. Unfortunately, the train was just coming in.
I lost my right leg and had many damages caused on the left one. I went through many operations and am now learning how to walk with only one arm-crutch.
