there is nothing wrong with your cat. is was in heat the whole time...she just had peaks where she showed it the most. cats are in heat until they are pregnant or spay. thats simple! so no worry ....she either needs another cat or if you don't wish for kittens get her spay. that is the only way.

what about my other cat? she goes into heat about once in every 3 to 4 months. Why the big difference?

cats never go completely out of heat until theyre spayed or get pregnant. they might seem out for a few days but can go right back in. so unless your going to breed her get her spayed. vets will do it while theyre in heat and the cat will be much happier

The question IS not what is WRONG with HER, but WHAT is WRONG with YOU????? For gosh sakes.....get her spayed!! Don't you know what the statistics are for cats and kittens that are killed at shelters EACH DAY?? Call your local shelter and ask......then make an appointment to have this poor cat spayed. Don't contribute to the problem....contribute towards solving it!!

I am not a vet or anything so I don't know exactly, but I can tell you that my cat, especially in the spring and summer goes into heat every couple of weeks. Its like she is constantly in heat.
