Hello, I have had Midnight since he was 6 weeks old. About 6 weeks ago a friend gave me 2 female kittens. Midnight is acting jealous off and on and being mean to them. What should I do? I don't want to get rid of Midnight or the babbies.

The new cats apparently smell different to him. Try putting a little perfume on your hands and pet all the cats so that they smell the same. Sometimes that will work best.
my cat acts like she is paralized in the back legs, wobbles when she tries to walk, help.
if you can, put the two kittens in a room by themselves with food, water and litter. Do this for a week or so. It will be hard to keep them in the room, but give it time. When you take the kittens out to play, put Midnight in another room. When you put the kittens back and let Midnight out, he will smell the kittens and this will help him get used to them. Gradually introduce them for short periods and monitor them closely until you feel comfortable. I did this for less than a week and my kitten and cat did just fine. It was hard to leave the kitten in a room by himself, but it saved him from getting beat up from the big cat. They are best of buds now! It was then easier to introduce a third cat 6 months later.
I had this same problem myself. If possible, put the kittens in a separate room with food, water and litter. When it is time to play with the kittens put Midnight in a room by himself. Once you put the kittens away bring Midnight out and he will smell the kittens on you and in the house. This will help to get used to their smell. Gradually bring the kittens out for monitored visits with Midnight. This will be hard, but it worked for me. Now they are best of buds! It was also easier to introduce a third cat 6 months later.
