I'm a fairly new cat owner, I can't tell if my cat is tired, sick, or perhaps even depressed. He's been very inactive the last 18 hours, and he sits with all limbs tucked under his his body, which is not normal for him. Can anyone tell me if these are common symptoms for a sick cat? Do they warrant a trip to the vet? Thanks!
WHEN A CAT HOOVERS GENERALLY THERE IS A HEALTH PROBLEM. WHEN MY CAT WAS VERY ILL WITH DIABETES HE WOULD JUST SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM AND HOOVER. ID HAD BLOOD TESTS RUN AND WE FOUND THE PROBLEM, NO MOVE HOOVERING AND IMPROVED GREATLY. WHEN IN DOUBT IT PAYS TO SEEK OUT A GOOD VET. GOOD LUCK, KINGTAZ

i'm glad your getting your cat checked out hopefully it is nothing serious, it could even be a bad case of worms, although you would see listlessness, weight loss. take a stool sample in with you and they can check this as well. good luck, kingtaz
It wouldn't hurt just to have an overall checkup for anything abnormal.
