My families solution was to put our cats in the garage at night. It was warm enough in there for them, and we set up beds, water and food spots for them. If they got out of control at night, we put them out there where we could hear less noise and they could continue with their rowdyness! (we did keep them inside when the weather was very cold...some nights you just need to put up with it.)
You say you have Oriental cats who are noisy at night. However you do not say whether they are meowing or tearing around the house like wild things.
Now, if the former. Oriental cats, Siamese, Korat, etc, are known talkers. It could be they are attempting to gain your attention.
If the latter. Cats are basically nocturnal but can be reoriented with a little effort. If they are nocturnal and you are not around to bug they must find ways to amuse themselves. What better than to keep you awake. I suggest forcing the little dears to stay awake as much as possible during the day. If you work get a cat sitter.
you could put them in a room away from your bedroom and put a litter box in that room along with food and water then shut the door til` morning. or if they are allowed outside you could put them outside in a fenced area for the night.
