Put the chipper with the new kitten and keep them together. The chipper will soon get to like the new kitten after a while, it just takes time and determination. If yo like your vats that much you'll try anything and keep at it. Also treat your cat to hugs and strokes and give it food treats and soon it will like you again. I am talking from experienece, I cat and then we got a kitten shortly after. The cat had just settled in when we brought home a kitten and the cat was a little nasty at first to the kitten but after a while they got to like each other, or should I say put up with each other. Well keep trying and you'll get success!

p.s. asl?

Im sure that Chipper does not hate you, this can be a common problem. Just make sure Chipper still gets the attention that he/she deserves and try to get the cats used to each other, as i know this happened to me. GOOD LUCK!

Cat's are like that sometimes. Take it from me. Animals just get jealous of one another. The proper way to settle this problem, is to make sure each cat gets the same attention. Make sure they get the same amount food, treats, attention,& love. If your holding one cat, pick up the other and hold that cat at the same time as the other. Carry them around, to let them know your paying attention to them. Soon they should like eachother. If Chipper is a male, be cautions, because males do not really like kittens. But they should get use to eachother after a while. Hope my advice helps.

well furst what you have to do is don't give all the new cat all the attention...chipper was there furst.....pamper him..give him treats and be extra special...also DO NOT LET THE NEW CAT PLAY WITH ANY of chipper's toys...this will make him think that the new cat is taking his place!
